Blue promise

Anenome blanda, turning their faces towards the afternoon sun in our little woodland garden. They are so easy to grow! and reward me every spring with their intense blue flowers. Just a tiny little black bulb planted under the soil in the autumn, and up they come, lasting for weeks.
A beautiful day, and it was great to get out in the garden. Lots to do! and here and there my old enemy, ground elder, is defying me once again!
