Pulmonaria

A glorious day!

I spent a while tidying the front garden and liked this photo best. These plants always seem such good value - the pulmonaria (lungwort) has intense blue flowers particularly at dusk, red and blue flowers in the 'basic' version which this plant is beginning to revert to, and the pretty spotted leaves which appear once the flowers are past and give the plant its name. This plant (augustifolia I think) came from one christinePears introduced to our garden many years ago when she designed some planting for a new border for us!

The honesty plant goes on for ever, reseeding itself, and has such pretty seed heads.
