We've been down to the Museum of Costume, Shambellie House in Dumfries and Galloway to do the annual deep clean ready for the open season...

I've spent most of my time up a ladder, hoovering curtains and sucking up webs and dead flies from the places normal cleaners cannot reach...

There's bits of mannequin all over the place waiting for the new costume displays to be set up... despite the grizzly look and sound of the task, I always love this part of the year... this was the bunch of ladies I was working with .
