Veggie Still Life

I have been a vegan leaning vegetarian for many years. Recently, I started buying "locally" grown veggies from Greenling.com. They claim to have local veggies. The problem is that Texas is so big, The Valley where many of the veggies are grown is as far away as Kansas City. So is a veggie driven 10 hours but from your state any more local that something driven 10 hours from a farm 4 states away? I don't know but am willing to give these folks a chance.

A friend of mine is a painter and is doing a still life. I figured I could do one as well. Nice thing about photography is that mine took less than hour. His is not finished and he has been working on his for weeks.

Anyway some of these became my lunch. Others will be dinner.
