A quiet moment in the garden

It was a beautiful day so I popped outside and pulled up some weeds!

Bad news on the camera front - it's going to cost £270 to repair!
So..... it's time for a new camera. I don't think I can afford another CanonG12 at around£300 but I'm not really enjoying this borrowed Fuji Finepix.
Anyone got any advice?
