Change always comes bearing gifts...

These are the material gifts that I was presented with yesterday after leaving my placement. It was much more than I ever expected and the other, greater, gift behind this is how much I appear to be valued by the rest of the team.

I am greatful for the experiences and opportunities that I've had in this placement and now feel much more prepared and confident for the real working world post graduation.

I am thankful for being allowed into the lives of the individuals I've worked with both staff and client wise, and hope that I've given as much positive contributions to others as I have received in turn.

I was asked awhile to sum up the placement in two words and went with: unexpected surprises. The positives have far outweighed the negative experiences, but I've taken so much learning from both which has made me stronger both professionally and professionally.
