Hazy sun today. Not cold but certainly not hot. But still people were enjoying the public gardens in this Victorian Square in Scarborough.

Public now, but of course these gardens were private originally. Fenced, gated and locked. Keys held only by the local residents who were responsible for the costs of upkeep. Like in the Notting Hill film with Hugh Grant.
