Carbis bay

Had a great start to the day today. Got up and had a full English breakfast which followed by a walk to and play on the beach with ash, Helen and the kids.

I then went for a 7km run. 2.5km into st Ives centre along the road. A 2.5 km run back along a coastal path which was a killer as it was steep in parts followed by a 2km run along the beach. When I got back to the hotel I had nipple rub and it was bleeding. I have got a white shirt for the wedding aswell, I can't believe it.

When I got back to my hotel and tried to open my room door the handle fell off. This is the 2nd holiday this year I have had problems with my room door handle. I got locked in my room in morzine and now my handle fell off in st Ives. I helped the guy who runs the hotel fix the lock so I'm hoping for a free pint later in the bar, fingers crossed.

This afternoon ash and I went up st Ives for a few beers with the groom, the best man and their dad. Naturally we wound all 3 of them up about the wedding tomorrow to make them more nervous about their speeches. The grooms dad looked a bit worse for wear when he left us. To be fair I think he would have stayed out with ash and me but the groom and the best man made him go back to the hotel. Spoil sports.

It's the wedding tomorrow and I'm really looking forward to it.
