Bees and falling blossom

This tree was in full blossom at lunchtime today. Petals were falling from the tree even though it was a still day. When I looked more closely, the petals were being knocked off by the huge number of bees that were flitting in and out between the flowers.

Great to just stand, watch and listen for a few minutes as a respite from a busy day in the office.
