Miami Art Deco

LONG drive today.

Started off at Fort Lauderdale, and drove over to Fort Myers. Thought this would be a nice drive. It wasn't....

About 100 miles in a straigt line right across the Everglades. NOTHING to see!

The road is called Gator Alley....only saw one gator - roadkill at the side of the road.

I stopped and bought 6 Kindles on the way (no - that's not the prize)

After that, drove all the way back and then down to Miami. We were staying on Miami South Beach (It's a hard life). Eubers would have loved all the Bikini's walking about!

The whole main downtown area of Miami is as you expect, with all the boutique Art Deco hotels.
