Daybreak over Miami Beach

Today was the last day of the roadtrip.

We could have got up early for a jog on the beach with "the beautiful people"....but we didn't.

Early start and up to Miami Airport for the last day of meetings.

Did need to drive round the airport twice to find the car hire return.

Then headed home with a flight back up to Orlando, and then Virgin Atlantic back to Gatwick (present location).

Note to self...NEVER fly Virgin Atlantic again....it was awful. Nit nearly like Lufthansa Business Class back from Vegas (Have I mentioned our Vegas holiday?)

Soi last day of the competition. I can't work out whether to allow Goretex's last change as she already knew I was in Miami (I ran out of time to post all before the transatlantic flight. Let's see if it makes a difference to the results?

I just realised I got Thursday's airport wrong!!! I was tired last night.

Thursday was

So Grounded gets 28 points (two right right airports and codes, right day), plus 5 points for mileage! So 69 points total.

Goretex gets NOTHING for Thursday plus 14 points (right airport and codes, right day for Friday), plus 5 p0ints for mileage! 40 points total.

So its down to closest mileage.

My total was: 248+80+308+25=661

Goretex was only SEVEN miles out at 668!!! So 50 bonus points and the WIN to Goretex with a total of 90!

The prize? Getting to bake me mini Victoria sponges for coffee break on Sunday :)
