Wallington Hall

This is Northumberland Residents' Weekend, on which many tourist places open up for free or half price for those who live in our county. I it seemed like a good chance to have a family day out to Wallington Hall where entry was free today, saving us over £20.

The weather was sunny and warm and we had a really lovely day walking in the secret gardens and woodland; exploring the grand house; bird spotting in the wildlife hide; playing in the adventure playground and a picnic lunch and a stop for ice cream somewhere in between.
