Look, Laaaadybird!

.... announced Katie, pushing an oven tray in my face. I wasnt sure what she was talking about. We were inside. She'd been doing water painting in her oven tray and I'd been pottering. But, indeed, there in the oven tray was a ladybird. Sadly, a deceased ladybird. Likely from an over enthusiastic toddler-grip. She was very proud of her ladybird and held it very lovingly. She gave it to Mickey Mouse to hold. She sat Monkey in her armchair and gave him it to hold. Then dropped it in the deep pile rug and has now lost it.

I dont normally blip this early on a Sunday when Victoria's coming to play but the ladybird was just too cute! We're about to go to Church, they've just pulled up. Then they're coming for lunch, play and camera fun. The studio lights are likely to come out!

Edit: We've had a very lot of fun day today. We discovered that there was a dedication service for a gorgeous little 6week old at Church today, so Mummy was doing photos. Katie had lots of fun, chasing round with Cousin1 and Jaden. A yummy lunch was then had by all, before we had a big Messy Play. Katie painted her feet, her hands, ran up the painting. She put her wellies on, ran up the painting again. Lots of fun. Followed by a splashy bath.
