Roundhill Skifield

This is me, dropping in again. Lake Tekapo - I just don't seem to be able to stay away from the place. Pixelsmiths and I (and our families and a few other families) are having yet another weekend at Lake Tekapo. We spent the day at Roundhill skifield. Both of us have new mountain bikes, so we took the opportunity (sieze the day and all that) to ride back at the end of the day. 8 kilometres of screaming downhill, followed by a further 25 kilmotres of shingle road, along the side of the lake, in perfect Spring weather. Stunning. It doesn't get much better. Perfect day. And tomorrow's Fathers day here in NZ.
