Flood.

It happens every spring. Large areas of swamp and forest are flooded in spring at Soomaa (swamp land in translation).
It looks amazing.

We had a canoe trip there today, 3 hours of nature, sports and danger. I have always wanted to do that, so I am quite proud of myself.
It was not a very cozy trip, as we had to row between (and on) the melting ice.
So the cry "Iceberg right ahead" was more than familiar today.

We have a saying, that if you as a couple survive a canoe trip without a quarrel (brake ups have happened!), then you survive anything.

We are the survivors!

Had a large bang on my teeth with an oar though... And can still smile!
