In Loving Memory of Holly

It's ten years since Holly died. Holly was a lovely dog, a border collie cross who used to be a regular in The Ship. She used to get a packet of mini cheddars, which she would hold between her paws. She would open the packet very carefully with her teeth, and then eat the mini cheddars one at a time.

I haven't thought about Holly for a while, but thinking about her now I think you might describe her as the female equivalent of Cyril from the Scotland Street books.
