Canberra or bust !

Finally arrived in Melbourne after another 7 hour flight. It looked like Edinburgh - very overcast and cool.

Had to go through customs at Melbourne as airport at Canberra is tiny (a bit like Edinburgh before they extended it).

Back on another flight for the last 50 min trip to Canberra - flight has mostly politicians and civil servants heading for the parliament after the weekend off!

Janet, Michael, Jessica, Kieran and Sinead all came to meet us at the airport...there were a few tears (me and jinty! - kids horrified!).

A wee snooze at Janet and Micks then our first BBQ with Dave, Adam and Tiali (that we met in Oz 8 years ago).

This is my big sister and my other half. Sorry about the greenish tinge. It's not Stepehn's jetlag - just the sunshade on the deck !

Managed to last til about 9pm then we crashed !!!
