Let there be light...

Lovely day with the girls, they played all day - in and out of the house, with water, with the iPad, with horses, with Barbies, with old bottles, with shoes and with twigs making nests.

The way it should be.

I was a bit stressed tonight, couldn't find bits of uniform, had official letters to write, working out my diary to see when I can fit in doctors and dentists appointments for the kids, finances to straighten, personal life to ponder... and the thought of a crazy busy month at work ahead when all I want to do is curl up and have a week off doing nothing but pottering.

But..

It was so nice to be able to keep the back door open and I put some old jars out and lit tealights in them..and as dusk fell the girls played by candlelight and we talked about April being a great time to do some bat spotting (just like last year)

The jars looked great, I am going old school and will be lighting the garden with candles this year. They lasted hours and made me feel warm and Pinteresty just looking at them :)

So, a lot to sort out and a lot to do*
