Megget Reservoir
If you live in Edinburgh then one day you'll be drinking the water in this shot. This is Megget Reservoir, high up in the hills above Moffat; it supplies all of Edinburgh's water through a series of pipes that deliver the water, by gravity, the 45km or so it takes to get there. It takes 18 hours for a drop of Megget water to reach Edinburgh. That's a not very impressive 2.5km / hour.
Oh, yes and as you can see, the weather's lovely.
