Record-breaking
This is still March - and yet Glenfinart Bay, Ardentinny, is as warm as a summer's day as we walk among the birdsong on a Sunday afternoon. We saw a red squirrel in the woods, and heard some wonderful songs from unrecognised birds.
People say it's too early for such weather, but here in Argyll we see so little sun that I realise I don't care how unseasonal it is - life seems so much easier and more rewarding when the sky is blue and the rain doesn't drive in your face. This day was the warmest March day in Scotland since records began.
