An easyosy birthday kind of day. Woken with homemade birthday cards and presents followed by a very late breakfast. We then braved the weather (wrapped up as if we were in the midst of November) and went blackberry picking around Eaglescairnie. We had great fun, picked two old ice cream tubs worth of fruit and returned home to warm ourselves with something hot. Friends in the afternoon for tea and cake, a phone call from France which made my day and an evening of good food and film.
