On The Forest Floor

Took a walk among the pines out at the ranch in Amado today. There were loads of pine cones last Fall but I saw just this one today. I figure the birds and little critters must have eaten the seeds but what happened to the rest of the cones? They just seemed to disappear.

It was a nice day for a walk- sunny and warm. I found myself a little dehydrated and without water, so I had to cut the walk short. But it was still a good day to be out in nature.
