Tree flower
Thank you for all your kind comments. I am back for a little while and have a lot of catching up to do!
We three are well and busy as usual on the farm. Tomorrow is the first part of our TB test which always makes us sick with nerves. We shall know the results on Friday when N and I return from Devon. Poor T will be the first to know and I guess will be phoning us with results as they come through. My one nightmare is that we shall be left with orphan calves to hand-feed and keep in while their mothers go off to slaughter.
I took a blip of this species of tree last year - I think it is a type of Maple or maybe a Sycamore - no doubt someone will put me right!
This weather is fantastic. N and I have been blitzing the garden but now the heavy clay is becoming like concrete and too dry to work. Last year I remember there were cracks in the ground in April in the Linseed field.
The Herefords and their baby calves have been out in the field and enjoying the sunshine and the freedom, the calves especially enjoy galloping about before dusk.
