5d Mark III Sharpness Testing

Tonight I taped a dollar bill to the fireplace set the camera up on a tripod to do some sharpness/autofocus tests with my new 5d3.

If you click large the blipfoto large image shown should be a 100% crop of a shot taken with the 24-105mm f/4L lens from about meters away after I had finished doing to micro adjusting on the autofocus for this lens. The lens seeemd to have been front focusing by about 6 steps and zoomed in is now definitely sharper, hopefullt it will help with getting the focus on the eyes and not tip of the noce or somewhere in midair in front of someone I am taking a shot of :-)
