Pretty in pink

This is a close up shot of the plant I was centering on in yesterday's blip. If anyone out there can identify what the "fruit tree" is, I'd appreciate it...I have no clue. It's pretty, it's one of two focal points in my front yard flower bed, and it was there when we rented the house. It's a lovely day out today and I took a bunch of pictures, all of them blip-worthy... but since this one was a sort of continuation from yesterday, it was the choice for today....isn't she...pretty in pink!
