celtic, knot work but play

I chose to take today's photo of the bottom of my birdbath. It's really beautiful with it's knot work designs all over it, but the garden it is sitting in looks bare because it only has a few shoots coming up right now...in a few weeks we'll fill it with annuals and it will be gorgeous...I'll take a shot of the whole thing then. But for now, the knot in the middle will suffice.
