Music Train - Carnival of the Animals

With all the illness going round I completely missed the fact that my boy was only 2years and 5months yesterday. I say only because he completely gobsmacked me today at Music Train. we have been doing Carnival of the Animals and today was the last day of term. At the end of class the teacher played snippets of the different animals music and the children had to identify them and stick the pictures in the correct place. Unbelievably William got them all correct and more impressively he got the elephant, chicken and donkey before anyone else. He is only 2years and 5 months and almost the youngest in the class. He was so proud of his sheet of paper, it had to be taken to the school gate to show his Carys as she came out of school.

C seems better today. She wanted to go to school and hand out her party invites. No complaints of ear pain since we got home, but I will be dosing her up before bed. I really hope she goes through tonight. She was awake from 22.00 'til 00.00 last night (so unlike her to wake at night) and then got up at 05.00. Although she went back to bed she didn't go back to sleep and in the process of going back to her room woke William, so neither did anyone else. Sleep has been a very rare commodity in this house this week.
