Deep in thought!

Evie didn't know I was taking this, I think that's why I like the photo even more! I'm not sure what she was pondering but I like this a lot!!

Spontaneity is the best!! Had a text from Julia asking if we fancied a picnic on the meadow at about 12, I did think of ways to get out of it but couldn't come up with a good enough idea so I thought I would say yes!!! So glad I did!! We had the best time! As did the children, they climbed trees, had scooter races, built dens, picked flowers, made magic fairy wands... These are the kind of days i wish i could have had when I was younger!

As for the adults, we drank beer and wine and chatted about everything and anything!! I even pinched one of the girls scooter's and nipped down the shop for more Peroni!!

We vacated the meadow after Joe was picked up from Cubs at 7.30, it was probably for the best!! A really super night and the babies all went to sleep in record time!!
