......there's a bit of a nip in the air this morning, but it's still damned pleasant. And as the beat copper who came and leaned against the railings next to me said (with what could only be described as a self-satisfied smirk....I'm sorry Mr Policeman, but it SO was!) '.....and to think I actually get paid for doing this'

Me, well I was out buying large amounts of part-baked bread and mustard for a family 'sausage and beer' do tomorrow night....the nephew is shipping out on his second Afghan 'tour' (though that seems like the wrong word somehow) in a couple of weeks.....might be a late blip tomorrow.....
