It is Friday!

Yesterday was a day for putting new jazz sketches up at Burgundy's Wine Bar and during the day I had a lovely visit from Sheilwill who added the titles to the sketches in her beautiful hand writing, as well as bringing lunch which I had with a half pint from the Burgundy microbrewing festival that is on this weekend.
This is a sketch of John Woodhouse on alto sax who played with Paul Froggatt on tenor sax - a fantastic sax duo in great form. To complete the Round Midnight Quintet we had Paul's son on drums, Matt Black on double base and Professor Mike Reynolds on keyboards. How could I resist painting matt black!!
And to top it all I won on the raffle - dinner for 2 at Pumpkins Bistro in Kendal. This means that I can treat sheilwill for all her hard work.
