The Return of March

Easter Egg hunt at the local country park with the Tiddly's preschool this morning. It was a nice walk , and then nice and relaxed but by god was it cold. We have had days and days of warm unbroken sunshine - completely unseasonal of course, but just the same we got used to it. The kids played happily, had their snack and found the eggs but before too long even they were chilly.

We returned home, switched the heating on and made hot cocoa! What a turn around. In fairness the sun did come out this afternoon and we sat in the garden a while but March showed itself today, perhaps it thought we'd forgotten it and knows it's days are numbered.
