Lake Brunner

We started the day by heading into Greymouth to invest in a replacement tyre after yesterday's blowout - replaced both back ones just because it made sense to wear them at the same rate. Now the pocketbook is decidedly lighter. Ouch!

Then back to our holiday house for lunch followed by a drive round to Iveagh Bay. We found a great little jetty and a million dragonflies. Gave me a chance to play with my new macro lens - not terribly effectively to be honest, but that's a good excuse to create more practice opportunities.

We carried on to Jacksons and had a cuppa then headed back to our house. A coffee, a blob for a while and then we'll head out for tea. I love holidays, even if they're only a weekend long.
