Kotare - NZ Kingfisher

I went down to the river during a break in the rain this afternoon thinking that the light on the water could be interesting. When I spotted this kingfisher I had to rush back to the car for my big lens.

Fortunately he waited for me. The light was behind him so I haven't managed any eye detail but it's still a kingfisher.
