Green Withens

After yesterday's excitement and extreme sociability, I went for a solitary, tranquil, three hour walk this morning, in the South Pennines. This took in the Green Withens Reservoir. Along one of the water channels that feeds water into the Reservoir I found this ruined structure beside a bridge. I have no idea what it was. It looked too solid to have been a sheep shelter and too small to be a human habitation or a bothy. Maybe it was a tool shed or water workers' shelter.
