Hey Mickey!

A group of us went to Nando's this evening for our friend Gemma's birthday. It was good fun, and really nice to catch up with everyone again. This is Lisa, Lucy, and Adam, being a little crazy. Like the first time I went to Nando's, I was eating the "extra hot sauce" straight. Nobody else felt like joining me, though.

When I got back to the flat, I was sitting in my room and the resident mouse casually sauntered across the floor. I wasn't having any of it, so I shut it in my room and it eventually went under my shelves - at which point I had to remove half the stuff on the shelves in order to move them, to try to extract the mouse. Nicola and I spent about half an hour using a ruler, torch, mirror, phone camera, tupperware box, bedsheets and textbooks trying to catch the thing before we succeeded. We then took "Mickey" for a walk in the meadows, and (looking very suspicious) set him free. I hope it was the only one in the flat, but I guess we'll find out in due course.
