Sewing

Today Amanda and I have been working on my costume for my up-coming birthday party. I haven't done much sewing for the past few years so it was interesting doing some again!

It is strange to think that a couple of generations ago, everyone did a lot more sewing than we do today. It's almost easier today to go out and buy a whole new shirt than to sew on a new button yourself. And despite this, despite all our other "time-saving" aspects of society, we're busier than ever.
