8 Today!!

Happy Birthday Colby! I can't believe that 8 years have gone by since I first held you in my arms!

He didn't want to go to school today.... assuming that because it was his birthday, it should be a national holiday and the schools should be closed. Kaylee agreed with him, which didn't make matters worse. Augh, kids!

He came home from school and was quick to play with his new Legos and watch the Clone Wars DVD's. Tonight we'll have a family party and enjoy DQ ice cream cake (is there anything better??). (Colby did say that he saw his "cloud heart" today at Move More Kids time, and mentioned that he felt like he was being hugged)

I'm so proud of the little man he's becoming, and at a young age of 8, displays qualities that are hard to find in grown adults. Yup, he's a pretty special boy... Happy Birthday Colby. We love you!
