Devonport, Auckland, New Zealand

I suppose that all of my New Zealand photographs must be incorrectly dated due to my technical incompetence but as a wise man once said "Does it really matter?"
On a second visit to Devonport, this time via the ferry, whilst my wife spent time in the quilting shop I walked up the local hilly thing. I think that it's called Mount Victoria and that its an extinct volcano.
There are many extinct volcanoes in Auckland. You know when you are on or near one as the area is usually called Mount something or other. Mount Eden is probably the best example. This is the view of the city from Mount Victoria.
