Whistle stop

Today was a day of homework being completed. At about lunch time I was nearly done but got a call from my old flatmate and good friend Gemma. Gemma was at the Tan Stand trying to achieve a bit of vitimin D exposure before she set off on her travels to Oz. However she had totally forgotton our old address including door number.

Post tan, I met G and Jose (her little sis) for a cuppa in the Whistlestop, which is a small vintage tea/coffee shop. Very cute and I always want their tea pots and cups (which they do sell but you cannot buy them all) Whilst tucking in our good friend and G's travel buddy, Kelly came in randomly and joined us.

Post tea drinking G and I went glasses shopping for her and managed to get her some stunning Gok Wan frames.

Tonight was a lovely treat for me, my friend Grum took me out for dinner and a catch up...cos we can, cos we're adults and can just go to dinner spur of the moment? (Grum's words) It was lovely, and whist there I introduced him to the world of Prezi.

This all came up because post wedding day Toni (best friend) had forgotton to apply for a job and I had offered to send it off for her. Two days later Toni got an email offering her an interview for the day (after sort of) she got back from Honeymoon. She was to do a presentation. She had limited computer access in Cape Verde...so she sent me her content and I made a prezi.com for her, Grum was my wall to bounce it off of and to check if he thought it was adquate. He loved it!
