Stamen and Stigma

A bizarre day.

First stopped to take some photos on the way to work, somehow managed to rip my works trousers on a stray piece of barbed wire.

I had seen some Hawthorne blossom and was interested in a macro so, as I had to go back home to change trousers (too much was hanging out!), I got the macro lens and dSLR to shoot the blossom.

Set up, composed, readied for first shot........... no memory card, DOH!

Collected some blossom to shoot at home (it had started raining by then).

The bright spot of the day was attaching the 90mm macro to the Nikon v1, giving me a ~ 250mm macro. This is cherry blossom.
