I just couldn't chosean image from today so decided to use this. We had such a lovely day. Darren and I both had the day off so we felt the twins deserved a family day out as they have to share us so much with others it was good to have some just us time. We went first to Freshwater holiday park to use their pool. There were slides, squirting water areas and 3 pools. They loved every minute, they were fearless of the water and the slides and it was such a joy to see their faces.

Once they were worn out and hungry we headed out and popped into the amusement area, The children wanted to go on the game where they might win a prize. Now I personally think these are a con but I agreed they could go on the machine where you chose a chocolate bar and if Mummy guesses the number correctly you win the chocolate - yep it was a vending machine but they thought they had won and were over the moon.The assistant was impressed, I didn't pay a fortune for a piece of rubbish and the children "won" a chocolate bar. We all won!!

After a picnic dinner we went to Burton Bradstock and the childrens farm. We got soaked on the way to it thanks to a flash rain storm but luckily the rest of the time there was dry if not chilly. Jack and Erin had a great time, there were goats, donkeys, chicks, they had a horse ride which they both took to really well and soft play. They each chose a toy from the shop, pirate ship for Jack and tiny soft toy pigs for Erin.

They have fallen asleep so quickly tonight after being totally worn out. Perfect day.
