School in the school holidays

Visited Scotland Street School in Glasgow this afternoon. The blip shows a window covered in photos of some of the former pupils.

Eldest and youngest had a great time playing 'Teacher and pupil' which basically involved taking turns shouting at each other and standing in the corner of the classroom. Each to their own.

Hubby and I enjoyed the chance to meander around a Rennie Mackintosh building. I've suffered a bit from Rennie Mackintosh fatigue over the years I've lived in Glasgow, but I don't blame him for it! His style and designs have been exploited to the max and I'm not sure there's anything left to 'Mackintosh' anymore. It was nice to see the genuine article today.
