Didn't see that coming

Woke with ants in my pants this morning so used up my excess energy doing jobs I've been putting off - cleaning bathroom, cleaning fish tank, hoovering, polishing.

Spent quite a bit of time doing jobs I like as well - repotting plants and food shopping.

Spoke to mum later who blithely informed me that when eldest and youngest have grown up a bit she'll be moving back down south to live. 'Oh,' I said. 'Okay,' I said. 'Do you want to come for dinner on Sunday?' she said. 'Erm...okay,' I said. Funny how she just threw that news into the conversation. Funny and slightly odd.
