Tartan Day

Tartan Day is a celebration of Scottish heritage on April 6, so had to include some tartan in today's blip.

There was another celebration going on today, it was my lovely friend Mandy's birthday so we popped over there this afternoon to wish her a happy day. Aiden came away with a 'new hair do' which she was very pleased about.

Tomorrow we're off to D-Con, at Blaine's request, D-Con is UK's highest attended free anime convention held in Dundee and showcases events for fans of anime, art and video game culture. He can't wait. I'm not looking too forward to it, as it means catching a bus, something I've yet to experience in Scotland, hope I get off at the right stop and don't get us lost.
