Bridge Strike

Whenever I use public transportation it becomes such an ordeal. The train to Montauk was stopped in Patchogue due to fires out east. Then half an hour later they finally moved on, only to stop us at Mastic-Shirley due to what I thought they said was a "bridge strike". It wasn't, a large truck hit the top of the bridge causing problems. That's fine too, eventually they let us go. They then stopped us at the second to last stop before Montauk and made us all get off and put us on buses to Montauk. These things, they only happen to me.

All worth the extra hour and a half of travel because it was absolutely gorgeous out and our room was oceanfront and Montauk is so tiny and small town-ish.
