2012 Friday — "Good" Friday

For the "this I know" people, Good Friday every year is not only "good," it is poignant.

Jesus didn't come to earth to make people into robots, He didn't come to take away our minds, He didn't come to make us good -- He came to abolish sin; He took the blame and the guilty verdict so none of us would have to. Christ paid a debt He did not owe because we owed a debt we could not pay. So when we finally give-up and admit that "good enough" is never good enough, then His gift to each of us makes sense. He came to make sure we were forgiven.
