We've had 3 Hens for just over a week now, bought them point of lay (16 Weeks old) Every day without fail Wayne has done as he promised and got up on time, fed and watered them, tidied the nest box and checked for eggs and every day been disappointed.
This morning was no different except that we gave everything a good clean and put down fresh bedding as chickens are unbelievably mucky, we then took all the stuff to the allotment and put it on the compost heap, waste not want not I say. When we got back he found this, with any luck the first of many.
