Wheely great deal!

New bikes for the boys today, well, reconditioned actually. We bought them very cheaply from a charity called The Bike Station. The assistants in there were really helpful and the bikes are excellent value for money.

The intention was for the boys to come home and try them out, but youngest's bike needs the pedals taken off first so he can practise his scooting. Once he can scoot we'll get the pedals back on. Trouble is one of the pedals won't budge and my hubby is now round at my neighbour's with a blow torch trying to loosen it a bit. This can and will only end in disaster. I'm sitting here with a cuppa waiting for hubby to return with something singed, either mechanical or anatomical. Hope it's the latter, youngest will be devastated if his bike is bust.
