Birthday girl

Spent the day celebrating Goatee's LOH's birthday with sundry locals.

It began in very civilised fashion with a walk to Petershan Nurseries for coffee and cake, and quickly descended into pub crawliness at various hostelries (details of which you can find on Goatee's entry for yesterday).

B inducted everyone into the ways of 'Bung', M smoked a pipe (nice touch) and we got up close and personal with farmyard animals.

It was a fine day, but B and I were too pooped to join for nightcap whiskeys - lightweights!!
