North Bondi Italian

Really not sure this picture does justice to the splendid views that accompanied our dinner but it should serve well to remind me of our lovely night at this great spot.

Arrived at Bondi early this morning after a night on the rollercoaster ride that was the sleeper train. Thank heavens for speed restrictions on parts of the track for a bit of respite from speed training. Too early to check into our hotel but able to leave our bags and wander off to the splendidly hidden away Porch and Parlour for breakfast. Not really hidden away if you live in North Bondi but not the sort of place we would have found without a top tip from a friend. The same friend recommended our dinner location. And I think we will be hard pressed to find anywhere better for our last two nights.

The bit of the day in between splendid meals was mainly spent on the beach and in the sea taking on the big waves.

It's fair to say the first day at Bondi has been a hit with everyone.
